What is Easy Villagers?
Easy Villagers by henkelmax replaces villager logistics — minecart pushing, boat dragging, bed-and-workstation Tetris — with picking the villager up and putting it in a purpose-built block. It runs on Forge and NeoForge.
Each block in the set does one villager job: trading, breeding, iron farming, or converting, with the villager visible inside like a tiny terrarium.
The Block Set
- Pick up villagers with sneak right-click; they become inventory items retaining profession and trades.
- Trader block: insert a villager and trade through a clean GUI; the Auto Trader executes a selected trade automatically with piped inputs and outputs.
- Breeder block: feed it food, collect baby villagers as items — a villager farm in one block.
- Converter block: zombifies and cures the occupant on demand for the discount mechanic, no zombie wrangling or splash potions by hand.
- Iron Farm block: insert villagers and it spawns iron golems processed into ingots and poppies, output-piped like any machine.
- Villagers inside blocks stay safe from zombies, lightning, and your own farm machinery.
Note: Trade rebalancing (curing discounts, restock timing) follows pack config; the converter respects the same discount rules vanilla applies.
Easy Villagers FAQ
How do I pick up a villager?
Sneak and right-click with an empty hand. The villager becomes an item preserving its profession, level, and trades; place it or slot it into an Easy Villagers block.
Does the Iron Farm block need a real village?
No, it self-contains the golem-spawning logic with villagers inserted into the block. Feed it villagers and collect iron.
Is there a Fabric version of Easy Villagers?
Official builds cover Forge and NeoForge only.
