What is Traveler's Backpack?
Traveler's Backpack by Tiviacz1337 is the adventure-focused backpack mod, successor in spirit to the old Adventure Backpack. One wearable pack combines inventory space, two built-in fluid tanks, a deployable sleeping bag, and a toolbelt, across Fabric, Forge, and NeoForge with Curios and Trinkets slot support.
Its signature is the themed backpack collection: dozens of craftable variants (creeper, dragon, cactus, sandstone, iron golem, and many more), several carrying a unique ability you can toggle.
Tanks, Sleeping Bag, and Abilities
- Fluid tanks flank the inventory: fill them with water, lava, milk, or potions via the in-GUI hose. Drink from one tank while the other holds lava for a portable obsidian generator.
- Sleeping bag unrolls from the pack with one click — set your spawn and skip the night anywhere without carrying beds.
- Tool slots hold two tools accessible by keybind swap without opening the pack.
- Abilities (toggleable per themed pack): the Cactus backpack slowly collects water, the Creeper pack revives you from death once like a totem (version-dependent), the Bat pack grants night vision underground, and so on. Ability lists live in the in-game guide.
- Crafting grid is built into the GUI on most versions for on-the-road crafting.
Packs can be dyed and placed as blocks, and they keep their contents when broken.

Wear the pack, look at open ground, and use the deploy sleeping bag keybind (or the GUI button). Sleeping works as with a bed, and the bag rolls back into the pack afterward.
How do the fluid tanks work?
Open the backpack GUI and use the hose slots to fill either tank from placed fluids or containers. The hose in hand drinks, places, or scoops fluids depending on mode.
