What is Effortless Building?

Effortless Building by Requios gives survival builders the tools creative editors take for granted. Whole lines, walls, floors, cubes, circles, and spheres place in one action, placements mirror across planes or repeat with arrays, and palettes can randomize — all of it consuming real blocks from your inventory.

It runs on Fabric, Forge, and NeoForge, and it converts repetitive megabuild labor into geometry selection.

Modes and Modifiers

  • Build modes (radial menu on a keybind): Line, Wall, Floor, Cube, Circle, Cylinder, Sphere and more — pick two corners and the shape fills with your held block, inventory permitting.
  • Mirror modifier: set a mirror plane (or two) and every placement duplicates across it — symmetric castles at half the clicks. Radial mirror repeats around a center for towers and mandalas.
  • Array modifier: repeat placements at fixed offsets for colonnades, bridges, and fence lines.
  • Randomizer: define a palette with weights and placements sample from it — instant texture blending.
  • Undo/redo with generous history, the survival builder's safety net.
  • Balance controls: servers configure max blocks per action and mode availability; all placements consume inventory and respect protection mods.

The learning curve is one radial menu; the payoff is measured in evenings saved per wall.

Effortless Building FAQ

Does Effortless Building work in survival?

Yes, that is its purpose: every placement consumes real blocks from your inventory, with server-configurable limits per action.

Can I undo a misplaced shape?

Yes, the mod keeps an undo/redo history for your recent build actions, returning blocks to inventory.
