What is RightClickHarvest?

RightClickHarvest does one thing: right-click a mature crop and it harvests and replants instantly from the yield. That removes the hoe-swinging, the scattered-seed cleanup, and the replanting clicks, so a wheat field harvests as fast as you can sweep your crosshair across it.

It runs on Fabric, Forge, and NeoForge across a huge version range, and once you have played with it, vanilla harvesting feels broken.

Behavior and Configuration

  • Supported crops: vanilla staples (wheat, carrots, potatoes, beetroot, nether wart, cocoa) plus modded crops implementing standard age properties — Farmer's Delight and Croptopia fields work out of the box.
  • Hoe modes: config can require holding a hoe (with durability cost) for balance, or allow bare-hand harvesting; a "hoe in either hand" middle ground is the common pack default.
  • Hunger cost: optional exhaustion per harvest keeps large manual farms honest.
  • Radius harvesting: with higher-tier hoes, some configurations enable small-area harvesting per click.
  • Sound and particle feedback confirm the action without GUI noise.

Server-side installation covers vanilla clients in most setups — the interaction happens server-side, which makes it an easy quality-of-life win on semi-vanilla servers.

RightClickHarvest FAQ

Does RightClickHarvest need a hoe?

Configurable: default setups allow bare hands, while balance-minded packs require a held hoe and charge durability. Check your pack's config.

Does it work with modded crops?

Any crop using standard growth properties works, which covers Farmer's Delight, Croptopia, and most farming mods automatically.
