What is Amendments?
Amendments by MehVahdJukaar (Supplementaries' author) upgrades vanilla blocks in place rather than adding new ones: cauldrons mix dyes and potions, flower pots hang, lanterns mount on walls, mob heads whisper, and doors open in pairs. Every change answers a "why can't I already do this" with "now you can."
It covers Forge, NeoForge, and Fabric on 1.20+.
Representative Amendments
- Cauldrons become genuinely useful. They mix dye colors as real dye baths and combine compatible potions, and they interact with faucets and droppers for automation.
- Hanging flower pots under blocks, with plants swaying appropriately.
- Wall lanterns: lanterns mount on vertical faces (with the same treatment for some other hanging decor).
- Double doors open together on click; fence gates connect visually into walls.
- Mob heads on note blocks play that mob's ambient sounds — atmospheric touches everywhere.
- Carpeted stairs and slabs join banner patterns on more surfaces and better torch and lever placement, smoothing everyday building friction.
- Dozens more micro-tweaks round it out, all individually configurable.
