What is Nature's Aura?

Nature's Aura by Ellpeck builds a magic system on an environmental economy. Aura exists ambiently in every chunk, and while devices drain it and generators replenish it, over-draining visibly sickens the land. The resulting loop of generating, spending, and restoring aura plays like an ecological tech tree with druidic flavor.

The in-game Book of Natural Aura documents devices and warns about the consequences of greed. Forge and NeoForge are supported.

Generating and Spending Aura

  1. Craft the Environmental Eye to see local aura levels — your meter for everything that follows.
  2. Build the Natural Altar: infuses items using aura plus sunlight; it converts materials like gold into Infused Iron and the mod's component tiers.
  3. Generate aura renewably: early generators bloom from nature itself, whether you plant Aura Blooms, grow trees near the Oak Generator, or let crop growth and animal husbandry feed aura back.
  4. Spend on devices: item pickup fields, farming accelerators, mob attractors, potion spreaders, hopper upgrades, and travel conveniences, each drawing from the local aura pool.
  5. Watch the balance: heavy drain produces visible decay and debuff fields around the area — restore it with generators or the land stays scarred.

The mod stays mid-weight on purpose, offering a dozen hours of progression with strong farming-mod synergy and no dimension-hopping required.

Nature's Aura FAQ

How do I see aura levels?

Craft and hold the Environmental Eye; it renders the local aura quantity as a meter. Aura is chunk-area based, so readings differ around your base.

What happens if I drain too much aura?

The area shows increasing negative effects (visual decay and debuff fields at extremes). Build renewable generators nearby to restore balance.
