What is Illager Invasion?
Illager Invasion (Fuzs' port of Illager Expansion) expands the illager faction into a proper army: new specialist units join patrols and raids, an Illager Fort structure garrisons them, and the Invoker caps the faction as a boss-tier spellcaster. Fabric, Forge, and NeoForge are supported.
Raids stop being interchangeable waves and start reading like unit compositions.
New Units and the Invoker
- Basher – shield-bearing frontline that blocks arrows and staggers; break the shield or flank.
- Provoker – support screamer buffing nearby illagers' aggression.
- Necromancer – raises undead reinforcements mid-fight; priority target.
- Sorcerer – area magic and debuff volleys from the back line.
- Firecaller – incendiary caster introduced in fort garrisons.
- Additional support specialists vary by version; the theme holds: every unit fills a tactical niche.
The Invoker waits at the heart of Illager Forts: a multi-phase magic boss with barriers, summons, and arena control, dropping unique Invoker-tier magic loot.
Raid balance shifts accordingly. Bring shields for Bashers, focus the casters early, and treat necromancers like the win conditions they are.
