Vorps Reborn is a Stone Age all the way up to the Space Age-based pack with magic elements, centered around MineFantasy Reforged’s creation of Tools, Weapons, and Armor. It's got an interactive crafting system, I would say it's pretty unique as to how you craft things, you start off by combining sharp rocks, vines and sticks to form different tools and weapons on a carpenter bench. You then go looking for Copper and Tin, then make stone forges, anvils, a wooden trough to quench hot metals in, and a tanning rack to turn hides into leather by hitting a hide with a stone knife. After that it becomes an interesting mechanic by combining copper and tin bars together in a crucible above a stone forge with lit coal/charcoal in it, it creates bronze. From there you make your first bronze anvil, and you can now make metal tools, weapons, and armor with bronze. Each consecutive anvil after that increases the tech level by 1, so stone anvil is 0, bronze 1, iron 2, and so forth. You can also make lower tier crafts with higher tier anvils and hammers too.
A bit later, you start into iron, then steel. Steel is a pain to get started sometimes, but it's worthwhile. Once you hit steel level, the pack really starts to take off, you can start into immersive engineering, pretty much anything.
Iron level or earlier you can also start Botania, some of the magic mods like Electroblob's recipes require Botania runes for their recipes.
There's Mine Colonies and Harvest Festival to start from the beginning too. Harvest Festival especially as you'll need to talk to Jenni at the general store to get Industrial Hemp Seed bundles, and Yulif the carpenter will sell you sprinkler systems to water your crops after you've gone into the Mine and gotten copper ore from that dimension, and iron ingots from the Overworld.
Side note: you need to water your (Harvest Festival) crops daily, as each new day starts ~around 6 am in the game.
if you don't water them, they won't grow.
Different crops can take different minecraft days to grow as well.
Something else of interest, is that Harvest Festival makes it so that enemy mobs like zombies, skeletons, spiders, and creepers spawn below y level 64.
The recommended amount of memory allocated to the pack is 8-10 GB, but 12 would be even better.like 1
